Read this piece by a man I count as a FB friend, but more importantly a friend of the Faith… Peter Kwasniewski. Tell me if you develop a bleeding heart for poor Tucho, who fashions himself a victim because he was investigated (justifiably) by the body he will now lead, calling it an ‘inquisition’. The most telling quote from this new Prefect of what once was The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (held faithfully by champions such as Benedict XVI and Müller) is this:
“Pope Francis ‘wants to give a different meaning to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith’.”
A different meaning that no longer safeguards Doctrine from thieves, but is focused on global dialogue.
As a dear priest who you all know warned me last week in response to a post, be prepared for the need for the Church to go underground.
*The title refers to a book authored by Fernandez, The Art of Kissing. He apparently peddled it to teens as part of catechesis.
