I just love being greeted by useful information in the morning. Here is an informative article in the wake of an alert not to travel to Kabul Airport due to danger…duh!! Pardon my incredulity. Here is the gist of what the article discloses, along with my commentary in CAPS:

1. Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said that “we know of a small number of cases where some Americans … have been harassed, and in some cases, beaten.”
    “We don’t believe it’s a very large number, and most Americans who have their credentials with them are being allowed through the Taliban checkpoints,” he added.

A SMALL NUMBER OF CASES? WE DON’T BELIEVE IT’S A VERY LARGE NUMBER? AND SINCE THE MILITARY HAS NO PRESENCE OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT, YOU KNOW THIS HOW??????

2. “…Taliban militants control all of the ground around the exterior of the airport…The U.S. military has largely chosen not to conduct operations outside the airport, leaving Americans and Afghans to fend for themselves until they reach the facility.”

SO OUR MILITARY IS HANGING AROUND THE AIRPORT JUST WAITING FOR AMERICANS TO BE ALLOWED BY THE TALIBAN ENTRANCE TO THE AIRPORT FOR RESCUE AND EVACUATION…REALLY?

3. “We’ve been in touch with the Taliban for quite some time, I think, over the course of the last week. And we’ve certainly made our concerns known,” Kirby said.

CONCERNS KNOWN…BUT NO TEETH BEHIND IT BECAUSE THE BULLDOG (TRUMP) WAS REPLACED WITH A HOUSECAT (BIDEN) WHO GAVE A LOUD MEOW, THEN RAN TO CAMP DAVID TO HIDE OUT.

4.  According to the military spokesman, word had not filtered down from Taliban leadership to every individual militant.
     “What appears to be happening is that not every Taliban fighter either got the word or decided to obey the word,” he said.

THAT’S THE WORD FROM TALIBAN LEADERS IN CHARGE I GUESS…AND WE ALL KNOW HOW TRUSTWORTHY THEY ARE.

That’s all I can stomach…it’s too distressing. Instead, I will let you read through the article on your own. And if you are one of those who just couldn’t bring yourself to vote for Trump (“I hate his personality”), or one who is a Voter Fraud Doubter (“That’s just a bunch of poor losers”), or one who fell for the false narrative that Trump and his supporters planned the January 6 problem at the Capitol (now debunked by an FBI investigation), you probably are content living in La-La Land. Enjoy your new life under your man in the White House. Now go watch the next White House briefing to the media so you can memorize the talking points.
